Woodstock Sessions 2016

Woodstock Sessions with Rich Robinson and Friends in August 2016.

Rich Robinson returned to Saugerties, NY in the Summer of 2016 for his second Woodstock Sessions event.  The first in 2014 yielded the album Rich Robinson: Woodstock Sessions (Eagle Rock/Universal Music).

The Woodstock Sessions special performances are held at Applehead Studios, a boutique recording studio situated on a beautiful 17 acre farm just outside the town center of Woodstock, NY. The audience is seated before the band inside this state of the art recordings studio–creating a unique, intimate environment for fans unlike any other concert experience. The three day event featured 2 separate sets of live performances as well as dinner and audience interaction led by Rich Robinson.

Hope you enjoy some of the images captured.

A very special thanks to my friends Rich Robinson, Michael Birnbaum, Scott Fitzgerald, Nico Bereciatua, Sven Pipien, Joe Magistro, Matt Slocum, Marc Ford & Eddie Harsh.  So happy to be a part of 2016 recordings.

Finding Neverland in Northern California

A tad jetlagged still, but back from my retreat to Northern California visiting San Fran, Eureka, Petaluma, Mendocino & Sausalito.  I was anxious to see the results from my trip through the Redwoods, to the coast and into the wonderful cities and small towns along the way.  I can’t help but think of the fairy tale Finding Neverland when I look at the peaceful and mystic forest.

You can visit anyone in Neverland, anytime you like, if you just go there yourself.

By believing….  Just believe.

The rest can be told in pictures.  Sometimes words just cant describe the view or the experience. Enjoy.  Thank you D, for the inspiration.  Love.  More than any.

Hold The Coffee’s Decision 2015: Harbor Perk Coffeehouse and Roasting in Ashtabula

Every week in his column “Hold the Coffee”, News-Herald Reporter Simon Husted camps out at a Northeast Ohio neighborhood coffee shops reviewing their scene, menu, location and its space functionality.

For the highly anticipated ‘Decision 2015’, after reviewing coffee shops from areas in and around Cleveland’s Gordon Square, East 4th Street, Little Italy, Tremont, Lakewood and Willoughby he named our client, Harbor Perk as his favorite coffee shop of the year!

Husted says:

The coffee shop has an industrial flare that stands out, pride in its coffee roast blends, fun events like music nights, a vibrant staff and plenty of exposed brick. And most importantly, Harbor Perk plays a vital role in a city and neighborhood that’s digging itself out of an economic downfall and turning it around into a regional destination for arts and recreation. An exceptional coffee shop plays a big role in how I perceive a neighborhood and that isn’t any truer than Harbor Perk and Bridge Street.

Well said Simon!
